This year the maximum age of youth for Agniveer (or Agneepath) scheme has been raised to 23 years. In the announcement made by the government on Tuesday regarding this new recruitment scheme of the army, the maximum age was 21 years. On Thursday evening, an official statement was issued by the Ministry of Defense and informed about the changes made in the Agneepath scheme of the government.
