First look of Nothing Phone 1 with 50MP camera is out, you will be a fan on sight

Nothing has officially revealed the design of its first smartphone called the Nothing Phone 1. The company has been teasing the launch of the smartphone for a long time, and now its first look has also been revealed.

An official poster surfaced on the company’s social media channel in which we can see a dual-camera system at the back. Previous leaks had claimed that the phone would come with a transparent design similar to the Nothing Ear (1).

Next to the rear cameras, we can see the flash and a large circle, possibly inspired by the MagSafe on the new Apple iPhone. Other features are unclear and the company is yet to reveal the front panel. It is also unclear whether the Nothing Phone 1 will get other color options other than white. At the moment, Nothing Ear (1) comes in two colors – black and white.

Nothing Phone 1 will launch on July 12 at 8:30 PM IST. The event can also be viewed online, and the company has confirmed that the device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, which is rumored to be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Other leaks claim that the Nothing Phone (1) will cost EUR 500, which is approximately Rs 41,500.

The phone is also said to come with a 6.55-inch full-HD + OLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate. The rear camera set up is said to house a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 32-megapixel snapper can be found in the front panel. The smartphone will be manufactured at the company’s Tamil Nadu plant.
