Agnipath Scheme: Violent protests continued for the third day on Friday in Bihar regarding the Agnipath scheme for recruitment to the Armed Forces (Indian Defense Service). Angry students announced Bihar bandh during their protest. Now the political parties of Bihar have also supported the Bihar bandh of these student organizations. Bihar’s grand alliance parties have given moral support to yesterday’s bandh. The four parties of the Grand Alliance, RJD, CPI, CPM and Male have supported this bandh.
In the interest of the youth and the nation, our party was called by the youth on 18th June 2022 “Bihar Bandh” in principle.
Other regional parties also protested
Pappu Yadav’s party Jaap will also participate in this bandh. Pappu Yadav himself will participate in support of the morning bandh at Dak Bungalow intersection in Patna. Vikas Insaan Party (VIP) chief and former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni said on Friday that the anger among the youth over the new scheme for recruitment in the army, Agneepath, proves that thousands of youth have taken to the road today. Despite continuous protests, the government has not yet held talks with the protesters.

Bihar Congress President Madan Mohan Jha said that our Chakka Jam plan is already under ED. There is a matter but if it has come in the middle, then we will also support it and will also hit the road. A meeting of leaders of various parties involved in the Grand Alliance was held under the leadership of State President Jagdanand Singh in the state office of RJD. Talking to reporters, Jagdanand Singh said that all the leaders of the Grand Alliance have supported the student movement. He said that the decision taken by the Modi government should be withdrawn immediately.
