This year the maximum age of youth for Agneepath scheme has been raised to 23 years. In the announcement made by the government on Tuesday regarding this new recruitment scheme of the army, the maximum age was 21 years. On Thursday, an official statement was issued by the Defense Ministry and information was given about the changes made in the Agnipath scheme of the government. Under this relaxation the upper age limit for the recruitment process for the Agneepath scheme of 2022 has been increased to 23 years. From next year i.e. 2023, it will be again reduced from 17 and a half   to 21 years.
