Anti Agnipath Protest Latest Updates: Protest against the central government’s Agnipath scheme related to the recruitment of soldiers has spread in many states. On Friday, the Protest took the form of a terrible form of violence in different parts of the country. Public property including railways was damaged in many states including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Telangana, West Bengal. Along with this, many train coaches were also thrown into the fire of demonstration. The claims of both the government and the opposition are different, but the country is bearing the brunt of it. 

  1. Bihar’s ADG Law and Order Sanjay Singh said that some anti-social elements joined the protest, which led to violence. I appeal to everyone not to take law in their own hands. 24 FIRs have been registered. So far more than 125 people have been detained. 1 person has died in the protest violence in Bihar.
  2. In Secunderabad, a mob of around 300-350 people set fire to a parcel coach of a passenger train. One person was seriously injured in police firing to disperse the protesters who were vandalizing the Secunderabad station. Confirming the death of the man, a senior official of South Central Railway said that the firing was done by the Railway Protection Force (CRPF). The injured are being treated at the Government Gandhi Hospital. Tension prevailed in Secunderabad railway station and surrounding areas. Shops near the railway station remained closed.
